The California Thrasher is an uncommon, year-round resident on campus within the CSUSB Preserve. It is a fairly common breeding resident in coastal sage scrub and chaparral habitats in southern California.

High Count: 6, Average Count: 1-2

The California Thrasher is brown overall, with a white throat, orangish undertail coverts, and has a long tail and a long, decurved bill.
