Department of Biology Roadmaps to Degree

Below are links to sample plans for completing an undergraduate degree in biology in various lengths of time. Each plan will open in a separate window. Close that window to return to this page. Students majoring in Biology are advised to enter the core biology sequence (BIOL 200, 201, 202, and 300) as early in their careers as possible. BIOL 200 is only offered Fall quarters, and students must pass each course in the core biology sequence with a "C" or better to take the next course in the sequence.

Note: These roadmaps are very general and do not apply to every student or every situation. The Biology Department suggests that all students seek individual advising from a faculty member prior to registration. See the faculty advising office hours page for additional information.
